Eat This Book - James Peterson

Finished Listening to the Audio of this for the 2ND time now.  He compared the time of Ezra, the time the children of Israel didn't even remember they were the children of Israel, to now.  also compared Galatians apathetic response to a world gone mad unless their ow were  threatened, to now.  Galatians was a book he translated line by line with his Sunday school class, then with his church, and then made into the book Traveling Light.  It was the first leap into what would become the Message Bible.  to take that much time and care to understand without running to commentaries first.  What a major practice of love and devotion, of simplicity.  I love his definition of a 'contemplative', and it isn't what you'd think, but you have to read the book for yourself to find out.
